~ Dentures

Conventional dentures are removable appliances. Dentures are replacement for missing teeth. While complete denture is intended to replace all missing teeth in the arch, a removable partial denture is designed to replace some missing teeth.

Removable partial dentures usually have metal base and pink-colored plastic to replace gingival tissue. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain in the jaw. The metal base has internal attachments to secure the denture in place. On the other hand, a complete denture is made with plastic and resin denture teeth.

Fabrication of removable dentures takes several appointments. During your initial appointment, Dr Duren will listen to your concerns to make sure a correct type of appliance is fabricated for you. Next, series of digital impressions will be taken for measurements. Try-ins and modifications usually take two additional appointments before an appliance is ready to be delivered to the patient with care instructions. Dentures may require some minor adjustment after delivery. Please feel free to contact our office with any concerns
