Different drinks including coffee, tea, and soda exacerbate the issue of teeth discoloration. Coffee and tea, for example, contain tannins, which causes colored compounds to stick to your teeth. This results in yellowing and staining of the teeth that can make you self-conscious.

We provide superior teeth whitening at our dental clinic utilizing one of the quickest, safest, and most effective treatments to brighten your smile. 

What is in-office Zoom Teeth Whitening?

It’s a non-invasive procedure that is performed at out dental office and takes about 1 hour. At the day of your appointment, Dr Duren will prepare your teeth for the procedure. Then a protective cover will be placed over your lips and gums and a hydrogen peroxide gel will be applied to your teeth. A Zoom whitening LED light lamp will be used in conjunction with the gel to provide maximum whitening results in the shortest possible time. Dr Duren will monitor the process and repeat the gel application every 15 minutes in a sequence of 3 sessions. Upon completion of the treatment, you will be given a custom tray with Relief ACP gel, and post operative instructions. You will also receive a touch-up kit with instructions for use.

Is Zoom Whitening painful?

Professional Zoom whitening is a not a painful procedure especially if you follow your Dr Duren’s pre-treatment instructions. We recommend you brush your teeth with a desensitizing toothpaste that contains potassium nitrate twice a day for 14 days prior to your whitening appointment. We also advise our patients to take 600mgs ibuprofen one hour prior to the procedure. 

How long does Zoom Whitening last?

Philips Zoom whitening is clinically proven to lighten up to 8 shades. Before and after photos are taken during the appointment to see immediate results. These results typically last 2 years. However, certain foods and drinks can stain your teeth following the procedure. Following your doctor’s post operative instructions and very important to maintain your newly whitened teeth. In addition, seeing your dentist every 6 months for cleaning will help maintaining your beautiful smile.
